I love Nagata Kabi. Her voice is so genuine and sweet.
Her first book details her losing her virginity to a sex worker, and this one deals with the reception of that book but also the aftermath of that situation. She still feels lonely/lost/sad/etc. I almost feel bad because it’s like, girl… even when you fuck someone you like, you’ll still feel empty afterwards. You still have to be yourself afterwards.
A lot of the reception was based around her family and people on the internet. Everyone online loves the book (including me) but then at home everyone was very judgmental about what should be in it or not. Just reinforces the fact that you cannot analyze your own art. Let other people do that. And stop caring what they come up with.
