back like i never left is a collection of stories about dating as a single mother. It follows a few months of meeting men off the street, maintaining relationships with weedmen, and curving people 123. The pieces are sometimes playful but always thoughtful. In other sections, I’m also reconnecting with an old lover, escaping from creeps in the dark, and trying to figure out what I really want for my son and me. back takes a critical look at the state of the dating world in New Jersey.
