Ah, unrequited love lol. This is such a beautiful and sad collection of poems. There are a lot of great lines… one section I really like from “Their attitudes differ” is:

I approach this love

like a biologist

pulling on my rubber

gloves & white labcoat

You flee from it

like an escaped political

prisoner, and no wonder

And that poem ends with, “please die I said / so I can write about it.” Love it.
