EVERYTHING GOOD WILL COME by Sefi Atta

Read this once in grad school and remember thinking that I liked Enitan better than Ifemelu (Americanah). Maybe it was because she was more political and because she’s less caught up in romance.

But anyway this is a really good coming of age story that centers around Enitan and her best friend Sheri. A lot of it is about fitting into family (and therefore one’s country).

Also–my book about dating as a single mother is available at the Montclair Book Center and on Amazon and in person if we cross paths.
