Three different weed dispensaries in South Seattle have been burglarized in the past few months. It’s always the same thing—a group of four men come in with masks on and guns out, they order the clerks down to the ground or to stand still, and take as much weed and money as they can before they’re out the door again.
The first incident happened on November 18, 2019. They struck another store on February 6th and then another, most recently, on the 19th. No one has gotten hurt during any of these robberies, but store owners point out that they can’t arm themselves because there is a law in Washington State which doesn’t allow guns anywhere alcohol or weed is sold.
